APA Hotel Hachioji Eki Nishi

The view was incredible

The room was SO hot but the air conditioning was set to heater so the only way to cool the room down was to open the window. However while the fourth floor is a non smoking floor, the third floor is a smoking floor, so cigarette smoke kept wafting in. And it’s mosquito season but there is no window screen so we got bitten by mosquitos. It was a bit of a sensory nightmare.

The staff were the best part. The chubby man was incredibly welcoming and took my 1 year old baby into consideration. Two other staff (onenof them a female trainee) relocated me to a different room when I complained about the temperature in my original room. All of the staff here were awesome and I wish nothing but the best for them. Thank you all.

The rooms were a little small and some rooms had better air conditioning then others.

The bed was comfortable.

The location was far from the station. It was next to a train crossing. The room was expensive but small. There were no shops super close. We could hear our neighbors. We could not control the AC temperature.

The staff went above and beyond. They were wonderful!!

It was a bit far from the station but they helped us get a taxi so it was ok

The bed is dusty and I felt sick in the morning.And the temperature cannot be controlled because there is no a/c and even opening the window is not allowed. I was stuck in the dusty room and it was too hot. I don’t recommend here.

It's a residential area & a walking distance to a train station.

The room is not soundproof. i am hearing the noise of the next room .

The room was spacious enough with plenty of room by the entry for bags and shoes. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the Hachioji station. The station and shops around the location are fantastic. The hotel is also right next to the train tracks. The staff were very helpful and kind, always greeting when walking by. I also locked myself out of my room once while doing laundry and a staff member helped me back in luckily. The washing and drying machines were cramped in a corner, but still nice to have coin machine options and they were always empty when I checked.

The price was great and staff were excellent.

The bathroom had an unusual smell and the parking was a bit of a walk from the hotel. Room was very small.

Had all the amenities, staff were welcoming.

Rooms are small and compact (like most places in Japan, though this I felt was slightly more so).

Nothing was up to standard.

The room smelled sour because of an unclean bathroom. There was no space to walk or stand. Just bed, desk. No space for luggage. The bed was caved in. The pillows were flat and hard.

A good place to stay convenient to station Hachioji Friendly staff and good room service highly recommend

It was in Hachioji. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They received and delivered a package for us to our room. They ordered taxis and pizza delivery for us and we could purchase beer through them. The room on the 6th floor was quiet even though we overlooked the train tracks. We could even open the window a little.

We needed a location in Hachioji and this was the only hotel available for our dates. The distance from the station was not convenient for walking with luggage. It was at least 20 minutes away by walking so we used taxis all the time.

Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good, with various options. Hotel is not far from Hachioji station.

We were amazed that they could put everything inside such a small room and make it even available for a small family.

We didn't expect our room to be too small where we could hardly put our feet. Although before booking, I thought, I checked everything but seems like I should have checked very carefully room photos whether they have a free space to sit and enjoy which unfortunately wasn't.

Price

As soon as I used face wash equipped in the powder room, I felt sharp pain on my face and it didn’t go away for a while. There was a bug repellent and a lot of dust under the bed. The window was making noise all the time, and you can hear your neighbors sound quite well.
